Downtown Braselton

Authentic shops, restaurants, and pubs fill Downtown Braselton’s historic buildings, which have been renovated in keeping with the town’s small-town charm. Visitors can stop by the Heritage and Welcome Center to learn about the town history and take a picture with a life-sized photo of Kim Basinger, who owned a stake in the town in the 1990s. Braselton first earned notoriety in the early 1900s when the three Braselton Brothers first opened a mercantile store to serve the farming community. Now the store anchors the downtown district next to a new Town Green that hosts year-round activities, such as family-friendly movies, outdoor concerts, festivals, and holiday events.
